Mr. Mick is a global innovation thought leader. A board member of the Global Innovation Institute (GInI). Mick is also currently Chairman of the Board for the Learning Company Accelerator (Alamo Colleges) and also sits on the innovation board for the University of Notre Dame.

Mick has served as the senior innovation executive for USAA, where he built and led the innovation program to world class status. During his tenure, USAA received numerous awards and accolades including InfoWeek 500’s most innovative, Businessweek’s #1 customer service, and People’s Choice awards.

Past experiences include USAA, Mick served as an innovator in multiple positions within the Department of Defense where he helped digitize and transform the U.S. Army. Mick is a certified management accountant and possesses advanced degrees in business and psychology. A natural change agent, Mick is an executive innovation practitioner with his work appearing on NPR, American Banker, Harvard Business Review, Workforce Magazine, Fast Company, and has been the subject of numerous academic articles .
